The rehabilitation proposal for the Central Coast of Venezuela includes four major strategies:
The first: The development of new infrastructures that assure the population against new natural events to try to minimize the damage. For this, they propose to develop water channels, but that incorporate the risk factor. These channels, which are called ecological channels, will also be new fronts of activity and new public spaces.
The second: The possibility of developing a new coastal front, thanks to the large amount of land reclaimed from the sea. This front favors the mixture of uses and different public and private activities.
The third: The recycling and restoration of all the historical fabric. With new pedestrian routes.
The fourth: The relocation and habilitation of neighborhood areas (next page).
